A gripping, fiery FIVE STAR sequel!
I would be hard pressed to find a book that had me falling in love with the dark romance genre more than 'A Dark Fall', the first in the series of the Dark Duology, because I was captivated from the first word to the last, but the sequel 'Into The Dark' might just be the crown stealer. Sequels are often the tricky sibling to a much stronger first born book baby, but the writing and story telling here by Drake is THAT good, that it just feels like a natural continuation of the first instalment and it's certainly no worse off for being the second born in this amazing series.

There'll most likely never be another couple that I adore more than the ever brooding Jake Lawrence and the wonderful Alex Marlowe. There's just something about that good, respectable girl, straying over to the darker, and definitely filthier side of the tracks that always does it for me, and there's no denying that Jake DEFINITELY does it for our Dr. Marlowe.

Gripping, tantalising and sexy, with characters and plot that will definitely have you wishing this was a trilogy and not a duology, 'Into The Dark' is a real winner in the sequel stakes and figures high on my 'must re-read' list. A five star dark romance with high stakes and even hotter scenes!

Wow, what a perfect book and a perfect way to end this duology! This book had me feeling all the feels! I was gripped from start to finish and could not recommend it enough!
Alex and Jake are just one of my favourite book couples, their connection was portrayed in the best way. Not only that but there was loads of super likeable characters throughout! I could read about Alex’s and Jakes story on and on and would LOVE some bonus content so I can just read more 😍 honestly one of my favourite books ever.
Scarlett is super talented and I’m excited to see and read more of her future work!
